Three-family-home, Nepi (VT), Italy

Arch. Romano Adolini

A residential project for three young friends who decided to build their home together could be considered an architectural study on the theme of friendship.

The lot, on the corner of a residential area had already been chosen by the friends. The three buildings, rotated at 45° around a core consisting of an olive tree - a symbol of friendship, are connected by a porch which anticipates identical volumes of the three houses: each is a single volume, with a pitched copper roof. On the facade, double-height windows overlook the pool.

Project works: 2003-2004
