Situated in a prominent town centre location, the Bathgate Partnership Centre acted as a catalyst for the regeneration of the local area.
High quality, civic, durable materials set a benchmark for this regeneration and raise the quality of the urban realm, building local pride and identity.
The predominant use of Brass cladding externally has been a major contributor to its success – providing a distinctive and attractive character and gaining instant popularity with the local community.
Sustainable high quality materials were used throughout the project; Brass cladding which is 100% recyclable, random cut Caithness Flagstones and untreated Western Red Cedar all from sustainable sources.
The building achieved an EPC ‘A’ rated Energy Performance Certificate.
The Bathgate Partnership Centre combines exciting materials, smart design and an innovative concept.
It upholds traditional values such as a sense of belonging and community pride …as well as being modern, sustainable, attractive, spacious and practical in order to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
“It is a marvellous resource for Bathgate with so many services available in one location. It is really vibrant and you can feel a buzz in the building.” Councillor Jim Walker
